Plot
Jack and Jill is a comedy film in which Adam Sandler plays Jack and Jill, siblings, in two roles as an actor. Jack Sadelstein is the CEO of a successful advertising agency, living in Los Angeles with his beautiful wife, Erin (played by Katie Holmes), and their two children. His peaceful life is often turned upside down when his twin sister, Jill, visits him every Thanksgiving.
Jack is extremely uncomfortable with Jill's visits, but since her mother's death, Jill has been the only connection in the family for Jack. Jill is emotional, overly dependent, and often causes discomfort in social situations. This Thanksgiving, Jack can't wait to pass, but things get more complicated when Jill plays a big role for a meeting with Al Pacino, an important figure in the advertising deal.
Without thinking about his fame, Al Pacino begins to fall in love with Jill. Jack tries to take advantage of this to seal a deal, but the plot is not easy because Jill's emotions and complications get tangled. The movie ends with a comical portrayal of Jack and Jill's conflict, reconciliation, and family.
